In Michigan

 
           
  • 10.1 Million people live in Michigan making it the 8th most populated state in the United States
 

 
  • 80% of the population is unsaved. There are more unsaved in Michigan than 42 other states have in total population.
 

 
  • 30% or over 2.9 million of the people live in multi-housing communities and over 90% of these people do not attend church no matter what their background.
 

 
  • Approximately 68% of our churches average 50 or less in Sunday School.
  • Approximately 37% of our churches average 25 or less in Sunday School.
  • About 1.4 million are African-American. Over 900 thousand African Americans live in Detroit, making it the largest City with an African American majority.
  • Michigan has the largest Arab population anywhere in the world outside of the Middle East. One third of all Arab-Americans live in Michigan.
  • Michigan has the 7th largest population of immigrants from India.
